My Approach to Supervision

My supervision style mirrors how I practice therapy: collaborative, relational, and grounded in both clinical rigor and lived experience.

Together, we might explore:

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Navigating complex trauma work

  • Developing clinical intuition and therapeutic presence

  • Working somatically and relationally with clients

  • Ethical decision-making and professional boundaries

  • Countertransference and use of self in the room

  • Burnout prevention and sustainable practice

  • Building confidence as a clinician

I approach supervision from a queer-affirming, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens, recognizing that therapy does not happen outside of systems of power, identity, and culture.

You are encouraged to bring your full self — questions, doubts, values, and experiences — into the work.

Areas of Clinical Focus

Supervisees often seek me out if they are interested in working with:

  • LGBTQIA+ clients

  • Non-traditional relationships & ethical non-monogamy

  • Sexuality, intimacy, and identity exploration

  • Trauma and nervous system regulation

  • Somatic and relational therapies

  • Clients navigating shame, attachment wounds, or identity development

You do not need prior experience in these areas — only curiosity and openness to learning.

Clinical Supervision for LMSWs & MSW Students

A space to grow into the therapist you’re becoming.

I offer clinical supervision for LMSWs working toward independent licensure and MSW students seeking thoughtful, relational support as they develop their clinical identity. Supervision, to me, is not only about meeting licensing requirements — it’s about learning how to practice sustainably, ethically, and authentically in a field that asks a lot of us.

My goal is to create a supervision space where curiosity is welcomed, uncertainty is normalized, and your emerging clinical voice is taken seriously.

If you’re interested in supervision, I invite you to reach out so we can discuss your goals, licensing needs, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
